| The Arizona
Student Film Festival is back for its third year!
Submissions for Arizona filmmakers are open from September 1st through
December 19th, 2008. The Festival will be held Saturday, January 17th,
2009.
In addition to seeing your film on a Harkins screen, this year the
Festival will once again be giving away Grand Prize Packages in each
age division. The prize packs will feature a digital video camera
and accessories to go along with it. These will be given to the overall
winner in each category for grades 3-5, 6-8, 9-12 and our recently
added college division.
Students will submit films in three categories: 30 second PSA, microshorts
(1-5 minutes), and shorts (5-15 minutes). All films will compete for
a prize pack as well as statewide school bragging rights. The winning
films in each category will also be showcased at the Phoenix Film
Festival in April!
This site is now updated with all the information, rules and downloadable
forms that make it easy to enter. Inquiries may also be directed to
